Contested Divorce
A contested divorce is usually necessary when the parties can not mutually agree on the terms of the divorce. Often contested divorces arise from property disputes, to include real estate, investments, retirement accounts and child custody issues which deals with Pennsylvania Family Law.
This is the traditional divorce option where you file a complaint or lawsuit against your spouse for the divorce and request the litigation of all outstanding issues such as equitable distribution of property and alimony.
It is typical in these cases that you hire a law firm by paying a large retainer, followed by monthly continuing legal bills. The longer your case last and nasty it gets, the more the legal bills pile up.
At Reinherz Law, we have unique flat fee options for contested divorce cases. We do not keep billing you, but instead try to get you the best result.
